How to Vote
Nominating a book on Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/182696.2023_Swoony_Awards) will look like a vote and you have to be a Goodreads member, otherwise it will only let you view the list - but not vote on it.
If
you are accessing the list from a cell phone, it won't show the vote
button. To vote, you will have to scroll to the bottom of the page and
click on "Desktop Version" from there, the voting buttons should appear
and you can vote for up to 100 books.
There
are five pages of nominated books, if you don't see the book you want
to nominate you can add it to the list. To add a book, click on the "Add
Books to This List" link at the top of the list. You can then add from My
Books or do a Search by entering the title. It will pull up the book
and you can click the Vote for this Book button and it will be added to
the list.
If you are not a Goodreads member and don't want to set up an account, you can nominate books via our Google link (https://forms.gle/zc2xJD2fSB5ZRG4Z6). The form is set up to accept five at a time, but you can nominate up to 100 on there as well.
We
will be combining the nominations (votes) from both Goodreads and
Google and will take the top ten books from each genre to start the
official Round One voting on December 5th.
The nomination round ends November 30. Starting December 5th, all voting will be done via Google.
